Michael L. Ronayne - Accomplished computing systems architect, engineer, technologist, entrepreneur and industry consultant, Mike Ronayne founded the technology consultancy, Amherst Partners, LLC in 2000. As President and principal consultant, Mr. Ronayne has served as a technology lead and strategist for such high profile clients as Ortho-McNeil Neurologics and Janssen Pharmaceutica, both divisions of Johnson & Johnson.
In 1993 Mike co-founded the Cushing Group, Inc., a consulting firm that specialized in large scale systems integration using distributed object technology. Mike was instrumental in taking the Cushing Group from 2 people with one office in New Hampshire to 32 Engineers with offices in New Hampshire, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. The Cushing Group was sold to Ciber, Inc. in 1998.
With a career spanning over 40 years leading the design and development of groundbreaking technological advancement, Michael is a well known and highly regarded technologist and business strategist in such diverse industries as computer hardware/software, financial services, insurance, semiconductor and customer services. A long and successful 20 year career with Digital Equipment Corporation saw Mr. Ronayne in a number of technical positions including Chief Technical Architect for Digital's Manufacturing Engineering Information Systems Group and Information Architect for Digital's Information Management and Technology group. Mike was involved with the development of Digital's Information Systems and Technical Architecture Frameworks. His consulting credentials reflect his standards of excellence with such companies as Johnson & Johnson, Xerox, Prudential, DirecTV, Fidelity Investments and Wells Fargo Bank.
Mike has an Associate degree in Industrial Electronics and Bachelors degree in Computer Science with advanced studies in Computer Science at Boston University and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
